30 Sep

The day is finally here and over the next few hours we will be announcing the winners of our third annual internet toy awards – The Rainbow Toy Awards.

Over the last couple of months our testers have been busily giving each toy a thorough testing.  All our testers are registered and vetted as being parents or carers of children…with each award being tested by at least three children or groups of children and the results relayed to us by the adults.

There are ten categories, and with our highest number of entries in any year so far, it’s a hotly contested event.  To give you an idea of how good the winning products really are – for every toy you see mentioned today there are five that didn’t quite make the winners or highly commended list.

Annoying Monsters….

10 Sep

The Annoying Monsters were expelled from Planet Boggus for being too annoying. Most of the monsters on their old planet are like people here but nicer and furrier. They put up with the Annoying Monsters screaming, burping and f**ting for a long time.

One day the Annoying Monsters decided to get into big trouble. They went to the swamp where the monster Queen sleeps and screamed for 40 days and nights. At first Queen Griselda found the non-stop noise irritating and aggravating. After two weeks it was bothersome. After 40 days it was unbearable. She ran out of the swamp shouting, “Stop pestering me! It’s infuriating!” Her one eye was wobbling furiously and her green face had turned red with rage. The Annoying Monsters were thrilled. ‘Oooh, isn’t the Queen frightening! She’s just like us!”

Queen Griselda had them put on a spaceship and fired into space. The ship landed on our planet.

Now all they want to do is meet people and irritate them. Take the Annoying Monsters home – and find out how annoying they can be!

I wonder what our testers will think of Annoying Monsters….  more info is at

You can buy them there too, for around £20
